Hi,
Newly registered user to this forum so I apologize if my first post is incorrect.

My wife bought me a Navitimer GMT (AB0441) as an anniversary gift back in 2015. To be honest, it's the watch I didn't know I wanted, as I'm not a watch guy, but since receiving it I wear it pretty much every day. Sadly, my anniversary gift to her paled in comparison and I've spent the last several years trying to make up for that.

Anyways, I had an issue with the watch a couple of years ago where the auto winder stopped winding. It went around in circles, but didn't do anything. I sent it in for service and it came back fixed and all was good. We were informed by the store that in order to keep the warranty valid - it has a 5 year warranty, the watch needed to be serviced every 2 to 2 1/2 years. A month or so ago we sent it in, but when it came back it had a knocking noise, like the auto winder or the crystal was loose. I sent it back in to be looked at, but it came back to the store with the same issue. The store called the Breitling service center and they said that's normal. Long story to my question, but is that normal? If I tap on the crystal it sounds loose. It's the worst if I tap near the 6 o'clock position.

Video link to show knocking noise: https://youtu.be/_7w9L8RrJYQ

Thanks for the help,
Scott.

PS We live in Canada so I think the service center doing the work is in Toronto.

Doesn't sound right to me, especially as you have owned it for years and it has not done it before the last service.

I don't own a Navi but plenty on here do and they will no doubt give you a more informed view.

I sent the watch back to the service center for a third time with a link to the video and it came back fixed. Very happy to have the watch back and working properly.

Scott.

Good result, pity it happened in the first place, my Chronomat GMT is with BUK for its 2 year "water resistant check".
