Wondering what the group thinks of the new limited edition Superocean for the Ironman triathlons. I really like the red strap on here and how the logo shows on the dial at 3:00.

Ironman Superocean

I like the red rubber (still have my 22mm red ocean racer) strap, not a fan of the logo on dial.

I was under the impression that the new leadership was looking to cut back on the number of models that Breitling offers, this offering does absolutely nothing for me!

Completely agree. Seems a bit silly to me.

Interesting having the logo at 3 (and no date), but it's not one I'd ever consider buying.

The logo is too long to be positioned there. Doesn't do anything for me.

A special case back would have been preferable to a dial logo. I like the strap but wouldn’t consider the watch.

This might appeal to someone that does Ironman competitions and likes Breitlings, other than that I can’t see it being a big seller.

Yeah, I think the only way I’d buy one would be if I was actually doing an Ironman as a way to commemorate the accomplishment. I still like the addition of the red strap but think this would look great on one of the ECONYL straps. Now that I’m looking at the red strap, I wonder how that would look on my Chronomat Airborrne since I think it would match the red accents on the dial nicely. If someone with some photoshop skills could put an Airborne with this strap, I’d greatly appreciate it!

Regarding the number of limited editions, now that I think about it, is a little concerning. I’m just hoping they do go the route Hublot is on with a limited edition for just about everything.

I personally like it but it would look better if it only had the M-dot logo and not the whole name.

I used to also be a triathlete and completed a couple of half Ironman distance events. So I wouldn’t mind wearing this.
