Dear all,
I recently purchased on C24 from a private seller a nice limited edition of an aerospace model E75362, my first Breitling for that matter and to some extent my dream watch from when I was still a teenager (a long time ago that is...). I'm very happy with the look and feel of the watch, incredibly light, beautiful dial and in almost perfect conditions. Almost because there is a small dent on the back of the watch, not even visible, but more worryingly as the hands are running backwards! No matter what I do, either setting the time or just letting it run, it goes anti clockwise. Did not even notice it originally as I did not check the time and it has no running second hand. Everything else works perfectly from what I can tell.
Haven't found much about this on the web except for this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ep7Qd_0ZwB4 and the comments. The seller says he took it for a complete overhaul and service to Breitling 3 years ago and obviously claims it runs OK...
So I have a few questions:
- Has anyone come across the same issue and are there any quick wins to get the watch back to normal?
- If I take it to Breitling what can I expect to pay? Would it be part of the service to fix that or will they say it needs a replacement...
Thanks a lot for your help!

Likely an issue with the stator. See for example:

Thank you, came across these. No quick solution it seems however... Will let you know what Breitling SAV has to say about it.

Got the quote from Breitling: needs a full service @520€. Since it had not undergone any such service for the last five years, I decided it was worth it anyway. Should come back as new.
