This is going to be a rather frustrating post as I can't link to the article as it was on Georges Kern's FB feed....and I can't access FB at work and I have no phone signal here today(!)... but I just had to post something about it here!

Anyway, if you get the chance (and if someone can link to it here that'd be great! - EDIT: Thanks Hunterfate for doing the honours below!) check out Georges' feed as he announced earlier today a new limited Bentley edition of the Premier with a wood (yes, WOOD!) dial!

Now, if someone described it to me without me having seen it, I'd be rather sceptical to say the least.....BUT after the seeing the pictures I have to say it looks absolutely SUPERB! The burl walnut dial with black subdials looks incredible, and considering I'm not usually a fan of black-eye-brown, that's saying something! Niche for sure, but what a niche! I love it.

The new "quilted" leather strap looks fantastic as well.

Here there are, I got them from Instagram this morning for our local Croatian forum

Georges Kern:
"The new limited series from BREITLING the Premier Bentley Centenary with a dial made out of wood (!). This watch is honoring the 100s anniversary of Bentley an amazing company with a fabulous history and a great team. This product looks stunning and the dial made out of wood and is inspired by the dash boards of the car. The leather straps are absolutely unique and are reflecting the craftsmanship of the leather seats. The product will be launched today at the Geneva Motor show. "

I'll admit, when I heard wood dial I had my doubts but I think this one has potential to be stunning in natural light. I think I agree with Fred where this is one you have to see in real life to really appreciate it.

Would love to see that one in real life. Hard to tell how the wood would really look in a rendering. But the rendering does look great! I like the stitching on the strap, goes with the stitching on the seats of a Bentley.

as close to an irl shot I grabbed when these were shown to to some key AD in Milano last month, still under heavy embargo then, but it‘s well hidden here.

Happy to help, but I'm getting a "404 Not Found" on that link I'm afraid Fred. :?

Might be worth trying imgbb.com as an alternative to imgur.com. That's what I use since Photobucket started charging.
