I was recently at the Breitling Boutique in Las Vegas and they couldn’t give any discounts. At best they were able to include a free additional strap. I also went to Tourneau and they wouldn’t give a discount either.

It seems that Breitling, under its new leadership, is trying to mimic the Rolex model of having a no discount policy.

Has anyone had a recent AD experience (within the last few months) where they got a discount?

That is how the boutiques always have been so that is no different. That tourneau in Vegas is the same. Tourneau are hit or Miss with discounts. Some do, some don't. Other ADs still discount.

I got a decent deal on my Superocean, but then again, I’ve got some friends who can help out.

Your conclusion about a no discount policy can't be derived from your Boutique/Tourneau experience. Too bad you didn't stop in at Horologio at the Venetian in Vegas -- lots of Breitlings, and they are willing to deal.

I am not sure what model you were interested in but my AD is always willing to offer a discount, in addition he is willing to ship out of state to save on the sales tax. PM me for contact info if you would like.
