I recently (Jan 2019), purchased a new Superocean H2 42mm from a Breitling store in Houston. I had seen them on the web for 3,800.00,usd. The salesmen made a good case for a store purchase ie fakes, warranty, etc. No second thoughts with a 10% discount & 5-yr int'l warranty, particularly at this price point. The watch was registered before I left the store. Interestingly though the salesman suggested when I adjust the date to do so with both hands BELOW the 3 and 9 dial numerals, as there have been issues reported with the stem breaking or something. There is nothing in the manual about this method. Since this is a Tudor sourced MT5612 movement modified to the B20 used by Breitling is it possible there may be owners who have experienced this? If anyone is aware of a B20 date setting issue on the new SOH I would welcome any reply. We self-report in the airline business. Not sure about watchmakers. I am thrilled with the watch, just detail oriented. Sorry for the length …

This is reasonable advice for any watch with a quick set date, although it is a little risk averse as the danger range is probably much smaller than that.

Congrats on the new watch! Can't help on the date issue but would love to see some pictures of the new addition.

there are no specific issues w/ the quickset date on the manufacture Tudor movement I am aware of, this is "general advice", as some calibers have that restriction.
