Hi, Newbie here hello to all.
Over in the UK there are some pretty good deals on the SA Hurricane. Just wanted to know what the durability of the case is like in General everyday wear. When it came out last year I was a little disappointed with the lack of weight (which I know sounds strange but I like to know I am wearing a substantial timepiece). I have a S/Steel SA at present and I am also considering a Blacksteel SA but finding a tidy one at the right money is proving difficult.

Thanks in advance.

I've had my Colt Skyracer about 6 months now and it looks the same as the day I got it. I love how light it feels on the wrist and that was my main selling point. I think if you want the weight of a watch, you'll have to go the blacksteel route but I'd rather go with the Breitlight.

I remember being on a long hike on a very hot day last summer, and wishing that I had a Breitlight case on my wrist instead of heavy steel. I generally do like a bit of heft on the wrist -- but, for that kind of activity, I would think that Breitlight is superb. I have only heard good things about it from actual owners.

I'd still like some sort of explanation from Breitling about why these models only have 100m water resistance, in that, is it to do with the Breitlight itself, or whether there's another reason.

As an aside, I've seen several different ADs with significant discounts on the Breitlight models.

The Hurricanes have been priced pretty aggressive lately. It's one reason I liked the Skyracer since it wasn't too much to spend and it's a great watch to throw on as a beater if needed.
