It has been a long time since my last post. I sold my B-1 non-superquartz about 2 years ago and now I am looking at picking up a B-1 Superquartz. With the watch being out of production since 2006 +/- (although the Airwolf probably uses the same movement and was produced until about 2012 +/- ), I am concerned about how long the quartz movement will last or will be replaceable through Breitling. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with the useful service life of the B-1 and how long movements will be available through Breitling? 10 years, 20 years, etc? Has anyone had to replace their entire movement yet? Not sure if anyone can share some insight/experience. Thanks in advance for the reply.

Guy

The movement (or at least a significant module) was replaced on my B-1 recently.

Can you share appropriately how old your B-1 is and the approximate cost of the movement replacement? Thanks in advance for the reply.

I don’t know the exact date of production, but the warranty was dated 2005. Price is the cost of a full service, which varies by location. You can check the price on your country's website. In Australia the module/movement was an additional cost, so I sent it to the US, where it was included in the service price. Much cheaper in the end.
