A friend of mine gave me this watch because he knew I have many (non Breitling) and thought I would like it. At first I was reluctant but nodded and said “thank you” then put it in my closet about 2 years ago and it has been there ever since. A recent conversation at work reminded me of it and I am now trying to learn about it (year made, history, authentication etc.)

I know little about Breitling watches and not sure where to begin. The band is an obvious replacement but I have only found one that was like it online but no info. Any help is appreciated!

It’s totally utterly fake. Given the lovely inscription I’d recommend you throw it away.

I do appreciate the input and plan too if there is no chance of history behind it. I’m curious of the motive (which I’m sure few could speak too) concerning the markings. Is a Breitling 950 a type of watch? Does the LL mean anything? Why the hell would someone print these things on a meaningless watch? I harbor NONE of the ‘swastika’ sentiments and truly was going to toss the watch because of it. I’m just wondering if anyone could shed light on this type of real or faked watch? Just wanting to learn.

Man it’s 100% fake. There’s no watch w that number. Breitling moves to geneva (which is on the dial) in the mid 1950s. This is a cheap Chinese watch that’s been decorated w nonsense.
