Hi, just got a Navitimer 01 46mm and I love it. I had a question, I noticed that there is a bit of a space between the crown and the case. It doesn't sit flush and I want to make sure that's the design and the water resistance isn't compromised or anything. Any feedback or pictures from fellow owners would be appreciated. Thanks!

That watch should NOT touch the water at all.

The watch basically is designed with 0 water resistance. Definitely keep away from the water.

If you have any doubts about the Nav go to your AD and check out another Nav. If it is different it should be covered by the warranty at no charge if purchased through an AD.
As far as WR on a Nav, they are not designed to be submerged in water so it really is a moot point one way or the other. If it is correct or not you really do not want to treat you Nav like it has any WR. I have washed mine but never ran water directly on the crown or pushers and even at that only for a second or two.
Good luck and let us know what you find.
Frank.
