I have a limited edition black steel

transocean unitime pilot Breitling, but it don’t wear it enough so I want to sell it. Where would be best to sell it, or should I hold onto it as an investment with it being limited to 1000?

You could sell it here or other forums you are a member of, or on eBay or Chrono24.

Only rare vintage Breitling models could be considered an investment, and if you don’t already have one, you have likely missed the boat as prices are already high. Perhaps if you held onto your LE Transocean for 40 years or more you might get a return on your purchase price; however, no watch should be considered an investment unless you really know what you are doing, and even then...

Its a bad investment. A limited breitling of 1000 won't really command any type of premium unfortunately.

True value is what the marketplace is prepared to pay.

None that I can see have sold on eBay for the last 60 days, but there are a few like yours listed on eBay and Chrono24. You can take your guidance from those listed prices and then negotiate down from there. Depending on where you sell, you may need to adjust for eBay selling fees.

Welcome to the Forum James. The hard truth is that our Breitlings take a beating on the price at resell. I have seen some what I consider terribly cheap prices for used Breitlings but that seems to be where they end up selling. Good luck with your salebut I would suggest keeping it and wearing it. Jmho.
