I am looking into purchasing one of the recent models from a reputable member but it comes with an old style warranty booklet as opposed to an electronic warranty card. Considering the fact that it is a rather recent model, I do not understand why it would not come with an electronic card. The seller has no idea either. Any ideas???

Thank you for your time.

Maybe it was orginally purchased as very old NOS.

What model are we talking about?

How old is it? Is the booklet stamped by an AD?

I too have recently purchased a brand new piece from a US AD, which came with the older paper warranty card. I have since sent it in to Breitling Service for a scheduled service and had absolutely no problems.

In which case I am at a loss as that is a pretty new model and should have the electronic warranty card.

Who cares? The electronic warranty card stays behind in the box. The only time you need to take it out is when sending the watch back to BUSA.
