What’s GV green sapphire? I looked at the Milgauss again and now I can’t decide if I want the blue or the black.
Green Glass = Glace Verte in French. Hence the “GV” nomination.
Both are beautiful. I prefer the Z Blue because the dial really pops but overall dial legibility is probably better on the black version.
Both the Z Blue and Black have GV Sapphire, correct?
The Milgauss has never rocked my boat but I have rich experience with blue and green and writing about it here might be of a little bit of help:
I used to have the Sinn Arktis which is a beautiful watch with blue galvanized dial. (Sold her because whenever I wish to wear a blue dial watch I turn to one of my "Breitling-blue" dialled Breitlings.

) The Sinn Arktis originally came with a saphire crystal that had a green antireflex coating inside. This combo (green crystal in front of a blue dial) seemed very unesthetic to me and I've replaced the crystal to one with blue antireflex coating on both inside and outside. (All Sinn 103/203 Sa series came first without antireflex treatments, then green inside, finally - even today - blue both sides.) This crystal replacement turned the watch a real beauty, even her mother couldn't have recognized her any more... Of course tastes and preferences may vary and the Milgauss LV has her own fan club but on my own experience I would never ever purchase a watch with green crystal and blue dial again. (Quite off-topic by now...)
