 Post subject: Jomashop----NEVER AGAIN!

I have spent thousands of dollars over the years buying watches from these people (Breitling Chrono, Oris, Tissot, Seikos).........NEVER AGAIN!

Made a purchase of the Seiko Sky, on 2/14 paid an extra $19 for "Next Day" delivery, order clearly states "Next Day arrives (2/16)"

Checked out there website today to see if I could get the tracking number to when the delivery was to happen today. Much to my chagrin it stated.
"Processing"??

Went on their website and did the "Chat" Routine with "Kadi" and she stated it shipped today, you will get it Monday (now tracking say's the 20th), I then told her I paid an extra $19 for "Next Day" shipping and the order clearly stated (arrives 2/16). She then recommended talking directly with customer service over the phone.

The girl at customer service tried to give me the old "huckle buck" saying the watch wasn't in stock and I was informed of that on the confirmation email. she lied, I posted the confirmation email below. I explained to her that I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars purchasing watches from them, and I wanted my $19 refunded.

Her answer was "we can credit you back $10. I then told her she was going to lose a customer who has spent thousands of dollars on purchases from them and I was also very active on several Watch Forums and you didn't really want to make an enemy for a lousy $9. Her response was "Have a Nice Day" and she then hung up on me."

I actually have stuck up for Jomashop in the past, but if this is the arrogant, screw you customer attitude they have I will never ever make a purchase for them again!

I can understand there can be shipping delays, that's one thing, but when you pay an extra $19 for Next Day Shipping on the 14th, and now it's not arriving until the 20th, and they refuse to fully refund the extra shipping costs.

Then when told that they were going to lose a customer who has spent thousands on purchases with them, and is also active on several watch forums, the answer was "Have a Nice Day" and then they hung up on me!

Buying at Jomashop is like buying from a shady backyard seller, hopefully the ware is like promised (fingers crossed), legit (fingers crossed), and arrives at all (fingers crossed). A risk only to take if they offer an impossible deal that's good even if accounting for some additional costs like a necessary service. If you only saved $10 or less you bought at the wrong place I guess...

(Disclaimer: I once bought some Breitling there which was such a good deal that, even is a full service was needed, was still a good deal. The watch arrived, looked good, was legit, and stopped to work after a few days. Sent to service to Breitling, they repaired it for a small price. Called myself lucky, and I still love the watch. Because I have realistic expectancies.)

Use Watchmaxx next time, I have had great experiences with them, and when they say next day it’s there the next day.

Wow, that is truly terrible customer service. My only negative experience was with them ignoring an email concerning warranty service, so while my experience wasn't nearly as bad as yours, it was nonetheless enough to prompt me to go straight to Breitling.

I have bought several watches off them in the past, never an issue.

Went to purchase a pair of sunglasses for my wife recently. It said they shipped in 1-3 days.

After a week I contacted them. Couldn't give me a time frame.

After two weeks, same.

After three weeks, still hadn't shipped, still couldn't tell me when they would.

After four weeks, I cancelled the order.

Never again.

I just purchased a watch from them last week, it was a $2,000 Watch I got for $875 with free shipping, got it in 2 days with no issues at all
