I recently purchased my first Breitling and had an odd encounter.

While wearing it a guy came up to me and proceeded to tell me how rare it was and what An amazing piece it was. I was a bit surprised so started to do some research...couldn't find anything.

Anyone have any ideas about this watch?

Before you get wrapped up in weather or not you got a "good deal" bear in mind that no matter how much of a "discount" you got there will be someone who proclaims that you were ripped off! I have bought watches at MSRP at times and haggled over a few dollars on other occasions. But I will say that there are not many watches that I am looking to flip because every watch I bought, I wanted. If this is a watch that you bought because you wanted it, then you are never going to lose money because you will never sell it! IMO the only time you should be concerned about price is when you intend to flip it in the hopes of making money. So enjoy it, and when you look at it on your wrist just think that there are only 300 other people with one just like it and chances are you will never meet one while they are wearing it! Nice watch, congratulations!

Well said Scott. Like Scott said, no matter what you paid, someone will chime that there are better deals out there. Even if there are only 300 of them, Breathings typically don't retain value well so also don't think of this as an investment or that it will somehow go up in value.

Lol, don't feel used. I was serious about my question. Then I got a pm from a guy with a super avenger 2 diamond that I wanted. And figured I'd sell this one and buy that one.
