Freshly back from a BUSA service in CT, this watch is immaculate. At Breitling Service, it received: a new SuperQuartz movement, new rhodium hands, a new AR sapphire crystal, new gaskets and seals, and a light re-finishing. This particular example was purchased as New Old Stock in 2007, so not only is it the last in the production series, it also is probably one of the last, new B-1s sold. Comes complete with inner Bakelite and outer boxes, correct instruction manual, Slide Rule, Slide Rule instruction manual, three additional links, Breitling hang tag, Breitling polishing cloth, Breitling service travel case, and the BUSA service receipt showing the work done and cost ($570). With the service comes a one-year warranty from Breitling. All functions work as they should. Backlight is bright, alarm is loud, and the battery should last 2-3 years depending on use.
If you'd love to have a new B-1, this is about as close to that as I have found. I bought the watch from the original owner, sent if off to Breitling for service, and in the interim two months, I bought some other watches and now need to sell a few. What better time to offer the B-1 than when it is in this pristine, just-serviced condition.
Selling for $SOLD1850.00, which includes shipping and Paypal fees. If you check the market for B-1s, I think you'll agree that this price is very fair, especially given the condition, completeness and $570 service.
