Anyone have any thoughts on what to expect from Basel this year. LE Navitimer and Avenger Bandit look killer, but interested to see if their will be any model revamps or new collections. Anxious to see what's to come for 2016. :lingsrock:

That would be killer, love the chronoliner, but just too big for my wrist size.

Does Breitling unviel new models at Basel? It aways seems to me they tend to release them during the course of the year.

Stainless version of the newer Chronomat 44 blacksteel would be pretty sick

What I'd LIKE to see -

- In-house movements in the Avenger line
- A non-Buck bezel (like the Airborne but without the rubber), and a few less fonts on the Chronomat
- Modern in-house powered re-releases of classic models from the 60's and 70's - for example, a Chronomatic 1806 re-release (with a left-hand crown please!)
- Ceramic cases instead of DLC

What we will probably see -

- None of the above
- DLC
- More DLC
- Some more DLC

Someone who typically posts about new models on timezone mentioned he's gotten word of a new 41mm Colt and just what everyone is waiting for, a Navitimer Blacksteel.

Both of those updates sound interesting. Basel is always like waiting for Christmas morning. Anxious to see what's to come for the brand. Nothing has personally been blowing my mind for some time.

I'm still hoping for a 180 degrees turn on the sizing. A 40 or 41mm Navitimer or Cosmonaute with B01 would be an amazing piece. Also, it would be nice for Breitling to jump into the thin sporty-elegant steel case watch business. Sort of how GP re-launched the Laureato, how the IWC Ingenieur got slimmer and smaller, and how VC unveiled the amazing new Overseas Ultra-Thin lately. I know it could be a challenge to source a movement that could fit into that paradigm, but it could even start a new model range for Breitling. After seeing the success of the Transocean family, I think Breitling still has the potential to re-invent itself without pushing the watch size and controverial design even further.

I would be extremely happy with a Chronomat 41 with day-date (or simple full calendar, like Datora) + fly-back, also a 40 mm Montbrillant and Navitimer with the very same movement + calendar complication. Some advances on escapement (silicone parts, balance bridge, direct microadjustment on balance wheel, Breguet spirale, etc.) Airborne bezel on street version Chronomat 41. Integration of the quick-micro-adjust clasp to the steel bracelets. Better waterresistance of the Navis. I think these are the most important ones.

A new 41mm Colt would be interesting. I like the newer 44mm Colt dials/design (both auto and quartz pieces), case is pushing my limits at 44 mm though. Hope they follow similar design for 41mm.

How about a ceramic case for the Navitimer! Oh, I'm sorry, I thought it was a wish list for this year!

I doubt it would be something at Basel, but it would be sweet if they released an Avenger II Seawolf with a blue dial and the numbers

Don't know why theres no Avenger II Seawolf with blue dial, seems like an obvious choice for a Dive watch
