It isn't an "issue", it's an inherent feature of analogue movements.

ok, then why the other brand does not have this inherent feature ? they are using different movements? so we should complain on ETA movement? is your answer from Breitling?

Every analogue watch has free play in the running train, it is simply more obvious in some models than others.

for this aerospace evo it already impact reading time... ... so we have to only use the digital display every time... then the minute hand become a joke...
we expect the improvement on this model aerospace evo, as old model aerospace which did not have this issue is not in production any more...
otherwise I would suggest please remove breitling or swiss made from it.

I own an Aerospace Avantage. The reason the minute hand float is because of the lack of a center mounted seconds hand, therefore, there is more play in the drive train for that hand. This is just the way it is. Not a big deal for me personally....

I have news for you....

The caliber 79 used in the EVO is the same exact movement that has been used in this model since 2005 when the Avantage model was first introduced. Your watch has an updated case, dial, hands and bracelet but underneath it shares the same exact engine as the older 42mm Aerospaces. The EVO changes were just cosmetic but the movement is essentially 11 years old....

If this bothers you, I suggest moving to a model with the Caliber 78 SQ movement (B1, Airwolf Chronospace) or the B50/B55 with the in-house manufacture SQ movement. Both of these have center mounted seconds hand and the minute hands do not float.

That has not been my experience with Grand Seiko 9F thermocompensated movements or Citizen Chronomaster Caliber A660 thermocompensated analogue movements either.

Just with my pedant's hat on, and to no one in particular, strictly speaking only the 2005-6 Aerospace [42mm, up from the previous 40mm] was called the 'Aerospace Avantage'. In the catalogues it reverted to simply being the straight 'Aerospace' from 2007-13, until it was replaced by the current [43mm] 'Aerospace Evo'. Though the 'Avantage' moniker has stuck to distinguish the 42mm watch in general.
