I've been offered the watch below which is a Chronomat 41 with white face for £5500 from my local AD. I can't work out if this is a good price or not?

Thoughts please? Obviously this is an authorised dealer with a new watch not pre owned etc.

That's an Chronomat Airborne and it retails for $9k USD. Not sure of the conversion rate plus VAT but maybe it's not that great a deal...

Also 9k in USD is around £6100 plus tax (20% in Uk).

The watches are different. Take a looking at Breitling website, you also can see the msrp in your city.

Different bezel, no squarish outline on the dial, different colour lume, same movement.

Here are some better pics of the Airborne. This is the 44mm version but I don't think there is any difference in appearance.

As Wes mentioned, there isn't the square pattern in the middle of the dial and the lume is made to look like it has patina and the bezel is different.

If there were a blackeye-blue dial and without the contrasting frame around the date window I'd prefer the Airborne too, but the Airborne bezel only would be fine too.
