Hello everybody, yesterday I went to a jewelry to prove this 2 models (with leather strap) because I would like to buy one of the, however, I don't Know which size I like more. But when I put the 43mm and the 46mm I found them not only too light (keeping in mind the huge sizes) but also they give me the sensation that there was flimsy. The watchcase seemed to be unable to resist any hit. The sapphire crystal also gave me the same impression.

Viewing the sizes of both I thought that this models would weigh much more......I have a Rolex date with smaller size than the navitimer and it weighs more.

Thanks for all.

The watch is an icon and many will tell you it has a place in any serious collector's collection. That being said, I too found it very light (but not flimsy). I think for many, it's simply different than the multitude of heavier dive watches or bigger Breitlings. Just my 2 cents...

would say that the build quality of the Nav 01 is superb - including the movement finishing it compares very nicely to all other watches in a similar price bracket. speaking about the 43mm, have never tried on the 46mm, as it "distorts" the original iconic look for my tastes.

The only negative I have heard about the navis are water resistance.

The early 01's did have some issues with the chronograph but Breitling has seemed to fix the issues under warranty and extended their warranty as well.

As Fred said the in-house Navis are very well put together, with the only "negative" being their WR. That said, they're not designed to be a super-rugged watch, so if you're planning to bash your Navi about (but why would you?), then I'd consider buying something else (and much cheaper!). But as a regular everyday watch, they are absolutely fine.

I do not think they are flimsy at all. I have two 01's on straps and love them to pieces. I have never worn either on a bracelet since I do not have one, but would assume that with one the weight would be nice on the wrist. I have a navi world that is quite heavy, and I do like the weight of that as well, but have decided that 46mm is more watch then I want now. For this reason I am looking to part ways with my world in favor of another navi in the 43mm realm on a bracelet. I think like goldilocks I have found my perfect match in watch size with 43mm. Again Navi 01 not flimsy, but great for any occasion I believe.
