Guys,

I would like to get some opinions on Chronomat 47mm GMT in the pictures below.
I went to see it at my dealer. It is 2nd hand but looks very good.
It is big and heavy and looks nice.
Only thing that bothers me a bit is that the glass shows some usage signs and not 100% clean as I expected (even that it is very hard to notice).
Model # is: AB0410.

Any opinions will be most welcomes. It is about 6800$.

Many thanks,

Well I can tell you that if those things bother you now, than when you own the watch it will drive you crazy! Maybe see if you can get it serviced, before you purchase it or try and find another one in better shape for the same money, which shouldn't be too hard. TBH, it's still in pretty good shape.

I have the same watch but with the brown dial and on leather strap. Gotta say I love that watch. It is big and def an eye catcher and I get lots of compliments on it. I can only imagine how much heavier it is w the bracelet.

I say buy it and have them throw in a service. Def an awesome watch

I think the price is a little high for the overall condition, a quick check of Govberg's used watches shows a 44mm GMT for $5350, if the 47mm is too big, and I am sure they might work with you on the price.

If you polish it you will remove the AR coating, replacement will involve a service which with the cost of the new crystal will likely be $850+

This is a good point, I had a 47 as wells and found it to be too big, whereas the 44 is a perfect fit.

BEB...my favorite combo. However based on the condition as shown in photo I believe you should be able to get a better price.

For that money get it serviced at Breitling and get the crystal replaced. The asking price is too high for the condition of the watch. That said if they will go fo the service or subtract the cost form the price I would take it.
Be safe, Frank.
