Hey guys,

I was wondering if someone could direct me to some pics of a GT with a white face. Or any GT wrist pics. I am just curious as to how the size looks. Thanks.

Oh, this is my first post by the way...

I dont have any pics, but tried one on at my AD and it doesnt wear as large as its dimensions suggest. Its pretty thin, and the lugs are nice and short. If you have a wrist around 7" or less, its nice and big, but not too big.

thanks,

im also wondering what people's general opinion is on the GT. I don't see a lot posted on this forum about them so are they just very rare, or generally not as liked as others? And if you all had the choice, which would you choose? The GT (white face), the 6.75 (white face), or the navi world (white face) all with steel bands. I'm just looking for general opinions as I am early in my quest for my first Breitling.

I love the GT and hope to get one in the future. A few people here have them as well.. I dont think its disliked by any means.. Its just that many people here are able to pull off the bigger size of the motors and 6.75, so they go that route instead. I can pull off such a large size, which is why I like the GT.

The like the day/date feature on the GT, not to mention the speed bracelet. You really can't go wrong with any of the Bentley models. Good luck with your decision.

As a member of the skinny wrist brigade, I like the GT as at 44mm, it's just about at the limit of what I feel comfortable wearing. I also like the day/date complication.

I'm not aware of the white face version being particularly rare. Here's a link to one on sale with pictures.

I also do not have a huge wrist and I love the GT I just bought. I would highly recommend it. I didn't feel that I could wear some of the other Bents, b/c they just seemed to large on my arm. Maybe once I get used to wearing my GT I will feel differently, but that is where I am right now.

I have a black dial GT - I'm a total watch nut - I dig Hublots, Graham Chrono Divers...there are so many cool watches out there. Still, the GT is my favourite.

It wasn't so much the size, but the contrasting silver sub-dials which decided the Motors/6.75 vs GT issue for me.

It's a very classy piece with lots of presence - I'd say in 20-30 years time the GT will be considered a real stand-out Breitling model from this era, a true classic watch design.

I have no problem with the GT (after all, it's a Breitling and a Bentley, so what's not to like! ) but, as you probably see from my signature, if it was my cash I'd be choosing the 6.75 or the Navi World before the GT. Just my personal opinion/choice, but the GT just doesn't do it for me in the way the others do. I'm not keen on day-date windows (it always reminds me of old Seikos for some reason, and I think it clutters the dial to much. :? ), and due to the slightly smaller dimensions I just find it doesn't have as much presence as the other other Bentleys. In that size range I'd personally rather have a Chronomat......

But then as I say, this is just my personal opinion and ultimately we all have to buy the watches we like, not what other people like. As has been said before, it's hard to go wrong with any Breitling!

Happy hunting!

I just bought a two tone LE Bentley GT leather strap, gold bezel.....I'm told its the only two tone GT available at this time....I love it, right size, goes with dress or casual, feels great....

Good luck with whatever you decide!
