I sent my chrono evo off to get a full strip and overhall service and replace the broken crown via my local UK AD but what im curious as to whether the work is carried out at Breitling UK or it will it be sent direct to the main Breitling Swiss headquarters where the watches are made to have the work done?

BUK has all the necessary kit for servicing any modern Breitling except the transmitter module in the Emergency.

just took my Navi 1461 to the AD to send off for service.

Breitling have taken over servicing here in Australia (this is a good thing) but as they are in transitioning stage I have been told its going to take about 5 months for the service....

nothing I can really do about it, it needs a service, only lasting about 8 hours before winding again...

It is quite possible that they don't have a certified watchmaker to service the semi perpetual so they need to send it to Switzerland. I had my Montbrillant 1461 serviced here at Breitling Service Centre in Hong Kong and it had to go to Switzerland .
It only took about 8-9 weeks if I recall correctly.
