Hi all,

I have been viewing this forum for a few weeks, I was looking for information to help me make up my mind about buying my first Breitling......it worked lots of great info so thanks for that.

I am now the happy owner of a Chronomat Limited edition :D

I dont have any issues 8) but am after a little information please. I got my watch from an authorized dealer in the UK. The sales guy mentioned something about being sent a welcome pack by Breitling. I didnt pay much attention to this as it was the watch I wanted not a welcome pack, however after 3 weeks nothing has turned up. Was this just sales talk to try and convince me to part with a large some of money or should I be phoning him to ask were it is?

Thanks

UK is one of those areas well known for NOT providing any freebies so I wouldn't hold your breath, probably just sales speak.

Welcome to BreitlingSource.

The registration of my £5.6k Super Avenger II Military was supposed to have triggered a ...... hat! The SAII was registered back at the start of November 2014. Still not heard anything from BUK.

I got a ....... hat(!) with my £2.5k Seawolf, and promptly sold it because it was rubbish/garish and I'd never have worn it. I have promised someone from the forum any hat that may arrive from my SAII but I doubt this long since anything will ever arrive.

No idea why our Pounds £ are not worth as much to Breitling as US $ are - I find it quite insulting, particularly as (notwithstanding currency exchange rates), Breitlings are effectively a fair bit cheaper in the US than the UK.

I have had numerous gifts from BUK, in my experience the AD fills in a card with the details of the new watch and should post it to BUK.
I have had a nice selection of new hats and a top quality Breitling pen.
In my opinion worth chasing your AD up.
Col.

The AD needs to buy the gifts from Breitling to then give them to the clientele. Same with practically every brand. We serve Rolex chocolates with our coffee we give to our clients. Even the chocolates need to be bought....

Have you thought about switching to Cadbury's chocolates?
Probably a quarter of the price of the Rolex ones ;-)
