I bought my Breitling from Bank's too.

It's a nice family run store with excellent knowledge. I've moved away from there now but nice to hear they are still getting good reviews.

i bought a couple of Longines a while back from Banks Lyons, as they gave me the best discount :) Plus Aziza was very helpful and friendly!

do you mind me asking if you got any discount reply by PM?? when i got my two watches i got about **% off when paying by CC. There was a 'suggestion' that if i paid another way ( i'm assuming Banks Lyon finance) i might have got a bigger discount???

all the best

johm

Any reason why not??
it's certainly not against the forum rules and there are plenty if other discussions about particular AD discounts??

older discussions. AD clearly prefer that discounts are not discussed publicly.

but you don't have to accept my friendly request, you just won't find many people to discuss them with you.

In that case I apologize, as I did't realise the AD did not like public discussion - please could you supply the relevant post so that i don't slip up again on this subject? Thankyou

many. there has been a crackdown by B, w/ mystery buyers etc., trying to eliminate or massively reduce discounting by AD, while at the same time doing nothing to curb grey market sales.
can we just leave it at that ?

I don't see anyone being "aggressive".

Everyone has the ability to edit their own posts, and with Breitling taking a much more aggressive attitude over the last few years I am sure that sponsor ADs would appreciate appropriate edits be made.
