Hi,
Probably be done before but Im new around here, is there any major issue buying a grey watch? I've been looking at a site called swisswatches direct and they seem reputable, I'm advised the warrenty will be all fine and dealer stamped.

they are offering around 25% on the models I'm looking at and I don't think I can get that from normal dealer. Uk based.

Is there any other pitfalls to be wary of?

lots of threads about this, but it boils down to: u get NO warranty repairs from Breitling.
so if u are looking at one of the B01 watches, you loose 5 years of warranty.
nobrainer for me, not worth it.

contact one of the UK forums sponsors, get the best possible deal & keep your warranty.

I've noted before that my brother got a watch from the very same site. Warranty booklet was included fully complete. He didn't need to use it so not sure if breitling would have had an issue with it but I don't think they would have known. Also not sure how this works with the new electronic warranty.

Well e-warranty has to be activated by an AD........

Highly unusual to get a warranty with a grey piece so I would want written confirmation that it was included before committing. Also, if the warranty is electronic and valid then it must have been activated by the AD prior to selling to the grey dealer which a) technically makes it used, b) means that false documentation has been completed by the AD regarding the warranty and c) means that it's only a partial warranty.

For the difference between 25% and what a UK based sponsor would do I don't see the point in risking it.
