Hi guys, I'm feeling a bit miffed, confused & worried all at the same time. Story is I did a deal yesterday for a Chronospace Automatic, and totally blown away by it, fantastic watch. For some reason though, looking at the picture on page 29 of the 2014 Chronolog catalogue my actual watch, volcano black dial, arabic numerals, Pro III bracelet, the 'points' on the bezel show 30. My watch only has 29? I was of course very worried that I had a very good fake on my hands. So I rang Breitling in Regent St., London and spoke to a technician. She very kindly went away and counted the 'points' on a Chronospace in for service and told me that this too only had 29 'points'. I have also searched for Chronospace reviews on here and all the pictures show, yes, 29 points. Amazingly, the photograph on p27 introducing the range, only has 29. The nice lady technician could not help me as to why the pictures on pages 28/29 showed 30.
I rang the dealer that the watch came from and he assured me that the watch is totally genuine and that if it wasn't then he would refund me plus £500 my way.
Having a bit of a nervous disposistion, although my fears are allayed to a degree, I'm still worried. I will for real peace of mind try & get into London in the next day or two and have the watch authenticated by Breitling.
If any of you guys on here could allay my fears further it would be much appreciated.
Regards,
Neal.
P.S. picture of my actual watch.

There are no remotely good fakes of the model and if Breitling and the AD say that it's got the right number of points then not too much to worry about. There have been official Breitling renderings in the past that had bigger flaws than that.

Roff, do you mean that some official Breitling pictures have differed from the actual physical piece?
The thing I find hard to get my head around is the fact that 30 'points' or 'cut-outs' around the circumference of the watch makes them evenly positioned, say at 12, 3, 6 & 9 whereas 29 does not allow for a uniform or symmetrical spacing.
I.e. 30 gives a precise 'point' at smack on 12 and 6, 29 is mathematically impossible of course.

Just out of interest you got me looking too ,the models page on this site shows the auto to have 29 and the quartz 30 ? Maybe they are different? Not sure how healthy counting notches on bezels is as a pastime , but nice watch.
