Hi,
Quick question. Is the box that comes with Chrono Evo an older style, meaning that the watch is older, i.e. pre 2008? Also, this watch seems to have a sticker on its back which is kind of strange?

Thanks!

Not sure about the box, but I believe the sticker is applied when a watch comes back from a Breitling service. Others can correct me if I'm wrong!

That box was generally used for 2003-2005 model years. Since the Chronomat Evo was introduced in 2005, it could be a 2005 model if this is original box.

Thanks for the responses. I have come to find out that this watch is from 2005, but apparently just had the service from Breitling which cost $640. I assume this is the complete overhaul?

Would you shy away from a watch that's nine years old? And does 3k seem like a fair price?

Thanks!

That cost is probably full service, and given that the watch will run for the next hundred plus years with proper servicing, nine years is nothing. I don't do pricing but the FAQs recommend checking completed eBay sales and dealer asking prices on Chrono24. Evo is a popular watch so huge number of comparables available.
