My tang style straps with the butterfly deployant show hardly any wear after 1-2 years of wear.
(Hmmm, and they say Chinese is confusing)
Having said that, with 14 straps and 10 bracelets, they do not get much wear (here we go again)

Deployant every day of the week for me when worn with a Breitling strap. I find the Breitling tang and buckle quite sharp on the leading edge which can wear a strap much quicker than other brands. I've seen tang and buckle straps on watches in AD windows that are already showing signs of wear just from a few people trying them on....

And to echo Roff, ABP are a fantastic alternative to OEM Breitling. IMO Breitling (and AP) make the best OEM straps I've ever handled, but ABP has the added benefit of being fully customisable.

I have the Breitling croc strap which is very nice, on a deployment. Its brand new so at this time I'm not finding it naturally comfortable possibly not helped by a new strap which needs to bed in. Its quite thick!

I have fairly normal - large wrists. I hope as the strap softens it will become more comfortable.

Have others found this?

From the box I'd guess a buckle would be more comfortable. However the strap wouldn't last as long...

Yes. It can take several weeks for the strap to soften up because it is so thick.
