New Year New Watch!!!!

The day has comes and this new year means i am going to be selling my Montbrillant Datora, i adore this watch but i think the time has come to change! My watch was bought in 2007, from selfriges, and still keeps perfect. its in very good condition with the usual wear and tear marks and comes with box, Watch booklet, International warranty card, original receipt, slide rule and instructional booklet to use the slide rule. The watch comes on the original stainless steel bracelet and makes a great piece to wear casually or formally. I am looking for £2800 as i have recently had it looked at and valued by an authorized dealer and from looking at what one have sold for on other website.

I really done know to much about the movements and spec of watches (im sure you all do) but here is a link to the watch which should give you all the information.

I've been trying to sell a couple of watches too, one of them been on sale for ages and lowering the price hasn't helped either. Maybe bad times for selling 2nd hand watches?

One factor may be service calculations: it's 7 years old so very due a 'Complete Overhaul' service, which is £400-500, which any buyer will have to factor in.

I agree age and service are significant factors. If the Service had been completed it would make it more attractive (at least to me)....and yes I am in the market for a Datora . Best of luck with the sale

Another factor is certainly pictures. I know how a Datora is made, but to decide to buy yours, I need to know exactly how is yours. So, many well exposed, hi res , in focus pictures help me to evaluate its conditions, scratches, dings,.... I always pass by posts with useless pictures.
