I've always lurked these forums, but I had to make an account to show what a great job BUSA service did. I sent my 4.5 year old Aeromarine Super Avenger in for general service, not for any real reason, just felt like it. I wore the hell out of it, almost daily, so it collected quite a few scratches, which I never minded. I felt like it gave it character. At first I thought the polishing was included in all services, but when they told me general service was just a deep cleaning I told them to go ahead and polish it. Total bill came out to $335 and it got back to me in 4 weeks.

I always heard about their polishing, but when I opened up the cool zippered box they sent it in... I was blown away . It looks brand new! Like it just came from the AD. Here are some pictures to show you the difference. Now I have a Tag to wear daily and I'm going wear the SA less to keep it looking this good

That's fantastic. Congrats. Oddly, I also wear a Tag daily (for the past 7 years) and after seeing that I want to get it serviced and polished.

Very nice! I had a similar experience with their service! Truly outstanding customer service and excellent work they did on my Transocean.

Wow, huge difference!! You can tell you really wore it a lot, that's a good thing though.

Great pics but I don't get that bit: surely now you've seen what they can do to restore it to as-new condition you have no reason to look after it any better by wearing it less?

I deal with scratches largely with my cape cod cloth on a regular basis. I wear a junker or nothing at all when doing jobs with a high scratch potential.
