Does it make sense to have 2 Navitimers as your only 2 watches? I currently own a black dial World on brown croc, but I'm thinking of adding a 01 black dial on black leather. This would leave me with just 2 watches, both Navitimers. Crazy?

Many (not in this forum of course) would argue that having more than one watch over couple of hundred bucks is crazy :-)

To paraphrase a current beer commercial, it isn't crazy if it works. To the extent you are asking for outside thinking on this, yeah, it seems a little odd to me to have two black dial Navis, albeit different sizes. I might consider a black strap for the one you have. But if size or some other detail makes a difference to you, by all means go for it. I could easily see a collection of various color/model Navis.

Go for it. Not crazy at all. Both the Navi' in question are different, and there's always plenty of room for more in a collection anyway. :wink:

Thanks for the input, I'm leaning that way!

You're asking a forum of collectors and enthusiasts lol.
Navi 01 is a beautiful piece.
That said, before you buy a 2nd Navi, make sure you spend some time trying on different pieces and dial colours. i.e. try out the blue dialed Navi and TOC 01s etc.

How many watches should a man own at minimum? One for every occasion in his life, tool (or sport) watch, work watch and dress watch. I like this saying. That said, two Navi's are great to have. I enjoy the few I have but want some differences in my watches that are part of the same family. Although the BO1 Navi is different enough for me to justify adding it to my daily wear. I wear my Navi all the time but switch it out when going to the beach because of its water resistance. A water resistance watch is good to have around.

I do have a G-shock for running and just an all around beater, but would also like to add another lower end sports watch for when I don't want to wear the Navi.

I don't think this is crazy at all. They'd still be different Navi models you'd have there.

I used to have two Navi Worlds and two SA's at one point, so I'm not overly objective on this! :wink:

I have more watches than brains! I'd definitely go for it!!!! The only thing that could really be crazy is having multiple women{and even more expensive than a 1000 watches}

Ain't that the truth! Just one is expensive enough! Or maybe that's just mine! :wink: (Wouldn't change her for the world though).

Dad, how much does it cost to get married?
Don't know son, I'm still paying for it.

Sorry, slightly off topic but could not resist :-)
