NOW WITHDRAWN :(

Last call on this one - £1025 Delivered!

I'll let this run until Thursday evening - after that it's off to the 'bay...

EDIT - 25 NOVEMBER - £100 REDUCTION -NOW £1100, Delivered!

Gentlemen,

Up for grabs is a lovely Breitling Navitimer 'AVI', the A13023.

This automatic chronograph model, which incorporates the Breitling 13 Movement (based on the ETA Valjoux 7750), was only produced between 1992 and 1995, as a 'homage' to an original hand-winding AVI/Co-Pilot Breitling Chronograph from 1955, the 765. This later model is a little larger and deeper than the original, and of course is automatic. The previous owner had it serviced sometime last year, but I don't have any supporting documentation.

There's a really useful article about the AVI/Aviastar/Co-Pilot series here: http://forums.watchuseek.com/f39/breitl ... y-112.html

CONDITION REPORT:

Crystal: The domed Mineral Crystal is in excellent order - no visible marks, one or two very faint hairlines only visible under magnification. It has an anti-reflective coating (appears to be to the the underside only).

Dial: Black Dial, with 3 Sub-Dial Registers in 'Guilloche' Silver/Steel finish. Upper register is Chrono Minutes, Lower register is Chrono hours, while the left-side register is the main time Seconds hand. Blue Steel 'spear' indicators on the registers. Applied Steel markers for numbers, with lumed tips. Lume still glows, briefly. Silver Minute Marker Track to outer of dial. Tachymeter Scale Chapter Ring. Overall excellent condition.

'Quickset' Date window at 3 o'clock. Seems to be the 'slow changeover' type - finally clicks over at about 2:30 am.

Hands: Hour and Minute hands are slim steel 'swords', with a luminous fill. Lume still glows, but doesn't last a huge amount of time. The central Chronograph hand is steel, needle style with an arrowhead tip, and a fancy 'B' counterbalance. All look excellent.

Case: The case is a classic diver-style, in a high-polish steel. Condition is excellent, one or two very minor nicks, and some light swirls. No nasty dinks or gouges.

Caseback: The caseback is a 14-sided screwback type. Markings are clear, including Model and Serial numbers, with some light hairline scratches, but nothing nasty - see photos.

Bezel: There is a bidirectional steel bezel, with a sawtooth-edge, which rotates fully in 24 clicks (i.e. 2.5 seconds per click), engraved with relevant increments (numbered 1-12 with half-point markers). The black 'fill' that would usually be in the engraved section has faded away over time, but could easily be 're-done' if required. Personally, I like the 'all steel' finish.

Crown/Pushers: All original Push-Down ridged-edge steel crown, clear 'B' signed. Two steel pushers. Very good to excellent, all work perfectly.

Movement/Running: I had my watchmaker inspect and regulate this when I first got it. The Breitling-signed 13 Calibre movement (ETA Valjoux 7750 base) is in excellent order, and running well, with a strong reserve. Timekeeping is very good - she's running at around +9 Seconds per day. Chrono functions perfectly, with a crisp flyback to zero on all registers.

Strap: This was on a fairly tatty strap when I got it, so I've fitted a new 22mm Breitling Black Leather (436X), with a Breitling-signed steel Deployant clasp. The Strap is new, worn about 4 times total, so very minor signs of use plus slight 'deployant crease'. The deployant clasp is slightly more used, but you wouldn't know it - I've polished it, and it looks really good!

Measurements: Width (without Crown): 41mm. Thickness: 14.8mm. Lug-to-lug: 46.5mm. Lug Width 22mm. Weight 105 grams

Other: It's nicely sized at 41mm (i.e. about the same size as a full size Bond Seamaster), and wears on the large side, as pushers add width, and the domed crystal means it wears quite high. The new Breitling Black strap and Steel deployant are a lovely match to the steel/black/silver head. Lovely weight to the piece- 105 grams even though it's on a leather strap. I don't have an original Box or Papers for this, but I will supply the watch in a Breitling Service/Travel Case - either the old style rectangular type, or the newer box style - buyer's choice.

These don't come up very often, so difficult to price - the last couple I've seen go went for around the £1450-£1550 range. I'll put this up at an extremely reasonable £1199 NOW £1100 - that's a bit of a steal, especially when you consider that the new Strap and a Deployant would set you back £360 on their own! The price includes Next Day RMSD for UK Bidders. Overseas will need to contact me for exact Shipping costs based on destination, but I'll use a courier (Fed-Ex/UPS) for safer Tracked Shipping.

I've loads of Feedback on here, I'm a 'Top Rated' e-bay seller (2200+ deals, 100%, username 'goonermike'), and I've got plenty of Feedback on TZ-UK (username 'BigBird'), so there are no worries there.

I'd prefer BT. PayPal if absolutely necessary, or for overseas, but I cannot accept PayPal Gifts (my account just won't accept them, and I get charged even on gifts). So if you want to use PayPal, it'll be via the 'official' route, and you'll need to add 3.4% to cover Fees.

If I've missed anything, you'd like more info or pics, please feel free to PM me.

Cheers!

Some minor nibbles on this, but she needs to go, so a one time reduction to £1100, UK Delivered!

That's a bargain, but if she doesn't go at that price, it'll be off to the 'bay....

Cheers!
