Hi. I was wondering which of the two straps would go better with my suits. My waatch is superocean 42 with abyss blue inner dial, and I usually where navy or dark grey suits.
Of course there might be people to tell me that superocean 42s don't go along with suits to start with, but this one's only one I got so im sticking with it :P

I do, however, have two options with the straps. One is 223x (black calfskin leather with blue inner & lining) and 113x (blue calfskin with white stitching).

Any opinions on which would go better with the suits?

Thanks!

I would say that the plain black calf strap is dressier for pairing the watch with a suit.

thanks for the reply!

I agree but I was a bit concerned that the blue lining looked kinda look too "sporty" more so because it is contrasted with the black leather :(

I'm more conservative so I would go with the traditional blue calf - Breitling blue isn't bright and I wear blue croc with a suit without any concern. I don't think that the black is the dressier option in this case because it's not the traditional Breitling black - the blue trim makes it much more sporty / casual.

However, as kromdom implies, you aren't me and so wear whatever 'feels' right to you.
