When I purchased this 810 back in March, I joined the site officially after following for years. This was to be my first project piece. As a former Omega restorer, I would come to find out quickly that parts are not as readily available for vintage Breitling as vintage Omega.
First to welcome me was Fred as my need was for a NOS dial and hands. Fred has been so help not only to me but others in helping in any way he can. Thanks to Fred. I met Paul and he was ever so helpful and kind to me with his knowledge and experience. This would not have turned out without his help. Craig from ChronoDeco was the man of the hour. When I needed the closer in bottom of the ninth Craig was the MAN. He knows what I am talking about and much respect to him and thanks. All serviced and running like brand new, I am pleased with the results and submit for your approval. All work performed by Orlando Watch Company. Thanks to Scott and guys.
I have learned much on this project but more important gained friendships. Making connections through a common interest but finding good friends.
Wayne

Very nice job - and a lovely, wearable watch.

This one'e important to show to people who might be intrigued by the idea of going vintage, but just can't handle owning a piece with the "age spots" which many vintages possess. Nice restoration and yes, I count myself among the group I just described, and I don't think I'm alone.

There's something about those hands I really like. Nice job! Memorable date on the back for me because I spent most of that year in Vietnam and Cambodia.
