Remembering Fred's post from a few days back I am here to offer up some vintage pix. I was feeling a bit sporty this morning so swapped out the tan croc for a black rally band. With the chrono running on my 1969 Top Time I figured I'd play early 70s rally car drive on the way to work and snapped these with my mobile. Enjoy!

First three shots really show how different this dial can look in sun and shade. Silver, White and Gray all make an appearance.

Better stop taking pix and watch out for that truck.

Tell me you're not taking pics of your watch while driving down the road.

That's why I stopped riding motorcycles. Not that I'm afraid I'm getting older but too many disconnected drivers to run me over. :)

I was driving with my knee, eating some breakfast, sending a text while composing the perfect picture...only wish I had some makeup to put on.

Believe me I am anti-cell phone in general and very rarely talk on it while driving. I really hate being behind others who think there is nobody else in the world besides them while the yack away at a green like standing still or driving over the center line 20MPH below the speed limit. I am also an avid cyclist so cell-phone-drivers scare the hell out of me. Some of those pix were while I was moving most stopped....so I am guilty there, but small country road and I was looking down the road pointing the phone in the general direction took about 75 of them all over the place those were the keepers. I was not looking at the screen trying to get the perfect picture.
