I recently picked up a black headwind and it is so nice. I have been wearing a silver steelfish for 2 years and it is also a gem. I think the wife will only let me keep one. I know only I can answer this, but which one would you keep and why

Dont get rid of your watches. I hear all the time people saying "I should have never got rid of that" you will kick yourself 5 years down the road if you get rid of the watch.

Are you a one-watch person indefinitely? If you think you can eventually have another, I would say that the silver Steelfish is easier to replace than the Headwind. If you want my personal preference, well.....

Really? I can only hope you are joking...otherwise you have bigger problems than a second watch..

If you really do have to let one go then I'd keep the Headwind - as said above, a decent Steelfish would surely be easier to pick up in the future.

Alan is 100% right. Go out and pick your wife up something she would never buy for herself and you are as good as gold. You do understand most women have a ledger-you get this and I get that. Don't fight it. Most women are way more accomadating then men are-everyone who doesn't agree-I feel sorry for you

thanks for the input, i am still on the fence about what to do. Th HW is great save for one thing, the taper of the pilot bracelet from 22-18, i am thinking of wearing on rubber or calk skin, and selling the pilot, or trading for a SOH 42.

Make a deal with her. If you get rid of your watch, what is she getting rid of to even things out?

Don't sell your watch man, if you really love it why would she not let you keep it? Unless you're struggling to put food on the table or pay your bills, I see no point in her pressing you to do this.

My fiancé gives me a hard time about my obsession all the time. I just do it anyways, she gets mad for a few minutes then its over. I just bought her a gucci purse and that shut her up for a while! Maybe she's just upset that she's not getting cool stuff. Gotta even it out somehow!

I know there is a LOT of Steefish love on this forum, but I'd choose the Headwind every single time...

I got rid of a Seawolf and I regretted it, to the point that I bought another one. Think twice, especially if you are attached to them.
