Getting back on topic, one thing I find interesting is that all the B01 issues I can recall (including mine) have been chronograph related. Can anyone recall a problem that was not tied to the chronograph? If nothing else, this trend allows us to isolate where the movement is faulty. Not that Breitling is actually listening . . .

This being the case, one could also imply that Breitling hasn't actually seen that many movements returned with issues, as I would imagine Joe Public doesn't really use the chronograph function enough to truly notice any problems. Although I'm pretty certain there is an intrinsic issue with the B01 movement, it's possible that Breitling may be oblivious to this.

A Canadian service centre guy told me about 18 months ago that they had seen "date issues", but don't know the details and don't recall any of those being reported here.

Well it seems my Navi 01 LE is headed to BUSA. It stops running if the chrono runs fro two hours, even with a full manual wind. Runs at +1sec/day otherwise. I have no idea what could be causing this. But I now join a club of which I had hoped I would never be a member.

I had the exact same problem! The red second hand would top at the 58 second mark and the whole watch would freeze. Also, when the chrono is running, the minute hand would sometimes get stuck.

After sending it in through the boutique in NYC it was fixed after only 2 weeks (I hear bitching about it expedites the process). I've had it back only 4 days now, but it seems to be running perfectly, and I ALWAYS keep the chronographs running.

Good luck to you,

That's good news. My chrono hand stops at almost 12 as well.

This is what I have been thinking also. The average person may not even run the chronograph or not run it for very long to see some of the issues noted here. Forum members could be overly sensitive/aware because of the WIS factor and want to see everything running perfectly (nothing wrong with that). Because of this, as you alluded to, there could be more problems in the wild that haven't been noticed or documented directly by Breitling.

All I know at this point is there seems to be enough problems reported here that worry me, as I was contemplating a possible Navi. 01 in the future.

Shark, keep us informed on your outcome as I'm sure we'll here back.

Aww that sucks Tom, sorry to hear it. Hope they figure it out and get it back ASAP. I love the Navi 01, and the new movements, but I guess this is becoming more common. Curious as to what the technical problem is.

At least you have a few nice back-ups.

Don

Good luck Sharkman. I sent my TO LE back last week for a whopping FOURTH time for the mystery chrono freezing problem.

What's sad is that I'm to the point where I truly hate the watch.

Also love that I bought it before the 5yr warranty was rolled out.
