With Titanic, space and volcano themed watches Romain Jerome was never going to be a mainstream brand, but this time they have gone a little further towards (over?) the edge with the RJ Spacecraft - http://www.monochrome.nl/romain-jerome- ... pacecraft/

Personally I like it a lot, but I also recognise that I am likely to be in a rather large minority. Additionally, with a list price of CHF21,900 and the freefall resale values that always occur with Romain Jerome this is going to be a lot more affordable on the secondary market than similar looking pieces from MB&F, Urwerk, etc. Now granted this is not in that league from a watchmaking standpoint, but it'scertainly different!

Once again I appreciate that it is different but just couldn't bring myself to wear it. Maybe if I had a thousand watches already and I was looking for something out of the ordinary...plus there's the expense thing too

Thanks for sharing Roff. Always great to see a unique design.

I saw this on a post on Instagram. Very cool. Almost reminds me of the HM 4.

I really like the Titanic (if just a tiny little bit macabre), space and volcano RJ's a lot, but this one does absolutely nothing for me I'm afraid. I'd have to own A LOT of other watches first before I'd fancy dropping any cash on this one.

Unique? Yes. Like it? Not really.

I like some of their other offerings, like D8...but this one isn't ringing my bell. I believe it's because the "face" is on the side.
