Hey Guys,

Got a fantastic vintage Navitimer in the last week and I love it, however...

I made a super stupid mistake this morning when I was trying to set the time, I must have pulled a little too hard because the crown with stem attached pulled out! I gently slipped it back into place but I'm having the following issues;

1.) I Can't set the time? I does wind though.

2.) When I do pull the crown out now to try and set the time I have to be very careful or the stem follows.

How serious a problem do I have on my hands here?

Thanks, your assistance is appreciated.

You have a screw loose! :lol:

The crown and crown stem are held in place by a screw and it has just come loose. I wouldn't wear the watch until it is looked at because if the screw comes completely out and floats around in hte movement it can do more damage. It's a simple fix for a watchmaker but might also be a sign that a service is in order!

Recommended watchmaker is member chronodeco (Craig). He's in the US but looks after members from all over the world. Many satisfied customers and evidence of his work all over the forum.
