If I understand the question, then no single one, though most every day is a Breitling day. Hairlines are unavoidable on the polished bracelets. I don't worry about them as they are easily removed and, frankly, no one would even notice them but me. As for stressing - if I have to stress about it, what's the fun of wearing them? One learns the arm tuck and it becomes second nature. So no stress here.

Just bought my first polished ling. Those swirls and hairlines still kinda bug me, guess its just part of getting used to it. Just wondering what you personally do to remove those annoying little guys. I have read a lot of your posts and you seem to be pretty helpfull.

insured it, and don't worry about it at all.

That's a good point. I have mine insured both for at home, and also away from home, and so don't stress too much knowing if it is lost/stolen/damaged then it is all covered by insurance.

I happily swap between my Breitlings and my cheaper watches on a regular basis (Seiko, Sekonda, Jaragar etc)

It's either the Breitling or Omega for me. My other watches just don't get the wrist time any more. Except for the Casio pathfinder. I love that watch...

Lots of threads on this. Either use a Cape Cod or Sunshine Cloth. A polishing stick (Watchfred knows the correct name) helps with the process. A little time and elbow grease and it will be good as new. In my experience the main thing that causes the bracelet to get hairlines is the bracelet links rubbing on each other if you lay it down flat. Don't do that.

It has been well used over the past couple of years, including hitting it off the stair bannister and breaking the bezel rotation! (fixed by BUK under warranty) Go BUK :)
Just need to find a good Jeweller that will polish my Pro 2 bracelet as I feel it needs it.

Talk to Andrew Michaels thier polishing chap is superb!

I wear my navitimer world on a daily basis and I stress a bit. My buddy just bought one and he thinks I'm crazy for wearing mine every day. What's the point of owning such a fine watch if you don't enjoy it.

absolutely agree and do the same (wear it daily without any stress)

Check out Prism polish...I've found it to leave a finish better than even what a professional on a wheel can do...and I've used literally over a hundred metal polishes in the past decade. Even when amplified, you can't see microscratches that you can with other products...and if you have deep scratches, a heavier cutting pad with the polish on something like a Dremel or a drill with a medium-cut polishing bit will make it look exceptional.

I've noticed this myself.

What I do is I take a plastic bag like this
http://www.beadsgaloredisplaysandmore.c ... 0_2344.jpg

Staple it down the middle...
then when not using the bracelet I slide each side of the bracelet into each section so that the bracelets cannot overfold and rub itself against the other piece.

I wore my Cosmo daily until I bought a vintage Omega. Now that I own an Omega Seamaster SM300 I rotate my Cosmo and SM300.

I wear a different watch every day, many times a vintage Breitling and never stress about it. They are made to be worn and not just sit in a safe. If thats all they were for I would never buy one.

Cheers.
