I've been looking to replace my bezel friction spring on my Chronomat and came across two for sale online. The part numbers are:

241.49

241.62

Does anyone know which models they are for? Thanks.

I think if you read through both the listings you will quickly see which one will suit your watch. In addition, the seller does state"Please ask if you have any questions"

The 241.49 part dimentions are given as I.D. (Inside diameter) 35mm X 38mm O.D. (outside diameter)
and
the 241.62 part dimentions are given as I.D. (Inside diameter) 40mm X 43mm O.D. (outside diameter)

Going by your signature, you own a Chromomat Evolution which has a 43.70mm diameter bezel as opposed to a Chronomat or Chronomat Longitude which are both 39mm in diameter, I would suggest that your watch requires the 241.62.

The answer is always in the question................ :wink:

I had already asked the seller which models these were for. The seller didn't know and said to refer to the dimensions listed. I didn't want to remove my ring and risk bending it any further, so I used the forum to see if anybody knew about these part numbers. I couldn't wait. I ended up removing the ring and the 35mm I.D. 38mm O.D. is actually a closer fit to what I have than the one you suggested. However, it is still probably not the right one for my Chono Evo. My ring has four raised ratcheting notches while the one pictured in the listing has only three. Thanks anyway. :wink:

Excellent news you've been able to have a look at yours. However, on looking closely at the listing picture I would say that it has 4 raised ratchet tangs. It's the way the light hits it that makes it hard to see the one at the "9 o'clock" position. Out of interest, why does the friction ring need replacing?

The ring is slightly bent/kinked making the markers on the bezel and dial unable to exactly line up. I know this is a common situation with many Breitling bezels, but I'm obsessed with perfection. Thanks for the help.
