As a certifiable chronoholic, I've become fixated and fascinated by the old chronographs. One problem is that once hooked, there can never be enough. (I'm sure none of you know that feeling) I'm really trying to narrow my selection when buying, but that for me is an epic fail.

I thought it might be fun for everyone out there who loves chonos to post their vintage stuff here. It been done on other forums, but hey, can there ever be too many chrono pics?!? Breitlings are certainly welcome, but let's see all your other stuff. Oddball brands are sometimes the most fun.

I'll get us started with just a couple. Don't want to big the server posting them all at once. LoL! More will come later as we move along.

Wow! Nobody has vintage chronographs to show off?!? Guess this could be moved to the image gallery forum and see what happens.

Ha! Not that much bigger than some of today's ugly monsters! At least that one looks cool. :)

Not quite a vintage but rather a re-issue of one.
It's a re-issue of a 1963 Chinese Air Force Chrono that was made by a Chinese watch company called Sea Gull, China's biggest watch maker that incidentally produces around 30% of world's mechanical movements.
It is equipped with the Sea Gull ST19 movement which is basically the Venus 175 as Sea Gull bought the production line for the 175 in the early 60's and continue to make it to this day. Lovely movement and if regulated well will produce stunning performance that could pass the COSC certification with flying colors.

@ DHopper

I love your Paul Maillardet - it is stunning. I have just purchased a ladies' chrono by Paul Maillardet and eagerly await its arrival. If you were curious about the name, yes I am related to Paul Maillardet but a long way back. His great-great grandfather was the brother of my 5x great grandfather. Their father was a clockmaker in Fontaines, Switzerland and the family tradition of clock and watchmaking appears to have continued until the demise of Paul Maillardet's company in the 1960s.
