That's a really sharp looking piece. What does it take to get Breitling to commission a watch? Could breitlingsource do that?

Very nice. Would be a perfect chronomat is the sub hands were all yellow and the date wheel was black but even with those short comings it still looks great.

Nice! Never seen a brushed one before, I think the finish really suits it.

Very nice Justin. Brushed case and bracelet is awesome, something I would like except the size is still a little big for me (need 41mm version). Looks like the square in the dial is smooth also. Yellow accents are cool. Congrats! You HAVE been on a roll lately :) .

Thanks for all the kind words. I was always on the fence with the B01 until I saw the LE last year. When I was told about this quite awhile back, I knew it had to my first in house Breitling. I'll get some better pics this weekend when I can use some natural light, assuming the weather cooperates. I'll get some comparison shots with my Sub and DJ2 to show the size and height. I was actually surprised that it didn't feel as big as I thought it would. I absolutely love this watch, and being able to pick my number was the icing on the cake.

I don't know how many are still available. I know some numbers are unavailable. Retail is $9,590 and I believe they're only offering it on the bracelet.

Very nice Justin. The all-brushed finish just WORKS so well on the Chronomat 01, and an LE of just 50 is a very cool edition. If I was being ultra-critical then I think a black date wheel would been the frosting on top of the cherry on top of the cake(!), but it's already a very VERY nice looking piece. Congrats on the pick-up.

To get Breitling to commission a watch you need to be an organisation of a suitably high-end standing in Breitling's eyes - so that means well established AD's, military squadrons, sporting bodies, royal families, and some large corporations. And for the record, Breitlingsource doesn't count in that regard unfortunately. We know, 'cause we've tried. Twice!

Thanks for clarifying, Driver. Breitlingsource must have attempted this before my time here.

The black date wheel would have been a very nice touch. I know it was asked for, but I guess it wasn't available at the time for some reason.

Looks similar to the one RJ created in this thread.

I remember seeing that now that you pointed it out. When we saw the mock up, we talked about what straps would also look good on this. We though a black croc strap with yellow stitching, something like the AP Bumble Bee strap, would look really good on it.
