I love Breitling watches as I am sure everyone here does. I am looking to buy some fine authentic Breitlings and figured I'd post an add to get that done. Here is what I want to offer you. If you have a watch that you want to re-home and do not want to waste time trying to market it on a bunch of forums only to be beat down on your price and settle for less than you wanted in the first place, then I am your guy. I will buy your watches and send funds right away, but please bear in mind I am not going to pay top dollar or the best price you can match on a forum or saw another guy trying to sell one for etc...

So please, if you have a watch you want to sell and would rather have some quick cash than a long term headache, please send me a picture of the watch and the model number and I will return promptly with a cash price.

Thank you!

Everyone please note: I PMed this guy about selling my watch to him. Granted, we couldn't come to an agreement--which is fine. However, he stated the following in a PM to me: "I am sorry that it is not what you are looking for but my offers are wholesale used prices..." So, not only is he "not going to pay top dollar or the best price you can match on a forum" but he is going to offer "wholesale used prices."

Not trying to thread crap, but I think this needs to be pointed out before people start thinking they're going to get quick cash from this guy for only a 5-10% markdown from market value. Expect to be offered a "wholesale used price" and don't be offended when such an offer comes to you.

Good luck with your sales/buys, OP! Oh, and thank you for the excellent, prompt, communication.

breitlingbuyer, wholesale used implies commercial. If you are a commercial seller then you need a commercial account - please contact Admin (member breitlingsource) to discuss.

not a scammer but folks need to know his methodology as I think he is a commercial seller
I just traded my Breitling eclipse to a Watch store in Dallas (valued at 3k) and he offered $1500
That would lead me to believe he is trying to mark up anything he acquires as a store might (actually much better)

Wow. I did not see any of this in time to get my points out there. First off, I am not a commercial dealer. You will not find at this time a single Breitling watch or piece of jewelry for sale by me at this time anywhere. I am someone looking to collect Breitling Watches at a good price. Yes, if I get bored with watch or want to free up cash I will sell one from time to time just like anyone else here. Like anything else I purchase, I do so at wholesale prices so that if I ever do decide to resell them, I can make a profit at the same time. That same principal has done well for me in real estate and I am sure other business minded people here are very familiar with that principal.

For example, I choose to buy my flat panel tv's on sale on black friday every year. Some of them I could sell out of season for a profit. Last time I checked that doesn't make me a dealer or a scammer, Just someone looking for a deal. I did not think it was a crime to try and get the best deal possible on the things that I choose to spend my money on.

I try to stay as cordial as possible when making offers but frankly, If you do not like my offer feel free to move on with your life and list it for any price you see fit. To set the record straight, If you are looking to get the highest SOLD price for your watch on ebay (not listing price, but sold price.) Then maybe you should post it on ebay. The only thing I am offering here is a service to someone who might not want to spend the time listing and holding a watch on ebay to sell it for cash right here and now at a discounted price. No it's not going to be top dollar or what you think you could get for it minus $100, but it is real time actual cash.

Currently I have aquired a superocean and a 18k & SS chronomat. Those are the only Breitlings I own right now. I plan to customize them, keep them for awhile, maybe sell them in the future. Either way that is my personal choice.

Also, My offers that seem excessively low might be because I'm not that in to the watch. I figure it is better to make an offer than to say I just don't like it. I don't want 90% of people walking away without offers.

It may be better if you post a list of what you want to buy, rather than a general WTB thread so you can lowball your way into buying something. When I first saw this thread I knew drama would follow.

I see your point, but there are so many models and color variations that I don't even know about, I don't want to rule anything out. I do not like anything with quartz movement though if that helps. Also negotiations are completely welcome. Most people who are angry with offers never bother to counter offer. Both of the watches purchased in the last week were through negotiations.
