How can I gain not lose or is it something I can do anything about it?

Well as I have already said once in this thread the rate is impacted by a huge number of variables so it may not be losing 1 or 2 seconds a day in a month's time. If you lay the watch on it's side at night then try laying it on it's back as that will tend to make it run slightly faster, but really - it's 1 - 2 seconds a day, this is really not an issue!

You paid a lot of money for the watch, you deserve a time piece that keeps accurate balls-on time. I say wrap it up and ship it off to Breitling. It will be well worth the 6 week wait to have them open it up, tinker with the tolerances, and ship it back to you so it's ony +3second per day, a more tolerable time keeping allowance.....don't you agree?

mfserge was being sarcastic!

The watch could take a couple of months to settle.

Keep your watch and enjoy it. It will all work out if you just give it some time. Chill
