Evening all,

1st time poster; just came across the website & forum a week ago during my search for my 1st Breitling Aerospace.

Seems like there is a huge knowledge base here, so I figured I would ask the question on whether how many people would recommend buying from U.S.A based Breitling dealers. I have come across 2 Companies who appear to be legitimate, and have had good answers back from them.

Prior to spending the $, it would be nice to hear success stories, and or, recommendations from others.

Cheers,

SF340

Lots of threads in the feedback section on the two sponsor ADs in the US (Govberg & Provident), would highly recommend them over a grey market internet dealer out of the US.

I believe that Govbergs will ship to Australia.

Just make sure that you take shipping and Australian custom duties into consideration.

I highly reccomend FEAR. Doing business with Geoff is about as easy as getting with my sister. Great communication and will answer any stupid question you may have. Constant, fast communication any time you need something, and goes to bat for his customers when the supplier trys to play games.

And doesn't ship internationally.

Evening,

Thanks Wessa for the tip; I am already on to that aspect and am prepared for a raping by the Ozzy customs crew. :guns:

This whole mission to get myself a new watch really is turning into a mission. From what I can gather, going to grey dealer route, I run the risk of the serial numbers being removed and the watch not being recognised by Breitling. It also brings up the issue of any warranty work that may, or may not, happen.

For the time being, my plan is to keep researching until I am 100% happy.

Cheers,

SF340

It's uncommon these days for serial numbers to be removed but 99+% of the time you won't get a Breitling warranty from a grey market dealer.
