congrats great iconic breitling and one of the best modern breitling to date
my pair say hi

I can see why you have two. I don't like the blacksteel on some models but on the Blackbird, it looks really good as it isn't throwing the color off and the presence of the darker red accents and the darker steel looks good. I wish they would make a bracelet for it though...I imagine a lot of people avoid the blacksteel given you can't get the pilot bracelet, which is the finest one I have ever worn.
And it was your post in this thread (
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=41903) that after I saw those pics I was like, "yeah, this is so me it is worth cutting back on other things I buy", so thank you for those!

Congrats Nic!
Was this the one posted FS on TZ and/or Watchnet? If it is I saw this one and was contemplating this one for a very very long time. But I got a surprise of my own too this week so we're even now.

It was on TZ. I am always hesitant about buying second hand but the guy selling had a TON of great feedback, and had the auth dealer info and service records...when I saw the listing I immediately wished I hadn't. Then I turned to my girlfriend and told her I was about to spend a few dollars.

I used to own and run an automotive detailing business, so working and refinishing polished, satin, brushed, and even plated metals are something I got good in. If anyone is interested, I can type up how to refinish the brushed Breitlings as it's quite easy if you have a little patience and a keen eye.
I reckon that'd be worth a write up.
Yessir!
