Ok guys, for those that have read my previous "Buying Breitling on holiday" thread, I'm now on holiday and have sounded a out a Breitling dealer
(Renny Rodriguez, Sol Time, Florida Mall, Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando)
with regard to a Colt automatic II, the best I could get out of him was $2,500 out the door, the question is, firstly what do you think with regard to the price and would I be better off waiting to see if any of the ports on the second leg of my holiday offer any better, for your info I'll be visiting the following in this order,
Cozumel Mexico, Belize, Roatan Island Honduras and finally, Freeport Bahamas,
I wont be able to revisit any of the listed ports, so I'm hoping you guys could give me a steer as to which would be most likely to offer the best deal,
so guys, what do you think ?,
your advice / comments would be much appreciated,
regards,
The Soulman.

No deal. Thats less than 15% off. $2200 out the door and youve got yourself a better deal. You can do even better than that, but since you havent bought from these dealers before, they will probably be very hesitant to give you better than that.

How long will you be in the states? You can buy out of state and save tax, and have it shipped to your stateside location while you are still around. You can find one for under 2k.

Thanks very much for your reply, I've been in the States since last Saturday (19th July)
first Breitling seller / outlet I've seen was today (Thursday) at the aforementioned place.
I'm off to Port Canaveral tomorrow morning and will have a one night sleepover and then off on the cruise at 2.30pm from there Saturday.
Taking all into account, I really wont be able to have anything shipped to an address as I'll be driving directly from Port Canaveral when I return from the cruise (2nd August) to Sanford airport for my return flight home.

So I'm really looking for some help with regard to which of the listed ports might offer the best deal, as mentioned, I'll be visitng them in a certain order, so will not be able to revisit once we've left port.

I will however be able to revisit the Sol Time outlet at the Florida Mall as I will be within striking distance on my trip back to Sanford airport,
members help and advice would be much appreciated,

Thank you and regards,
The Soulman.

Given your circumstances, id say if you can get 20% off, take it.

Thanks and please excuse my ignorance,
(Not used to the $ / prices over here) what in Dollars would be a great "Out the door" and a good "Out the door" price,

Regards,
The Soulman.

Retail is $2695. Tax is somewhere in the neighborhood of 8% (it differs from state to state, but this is a safe estimate). 15% off is pretty standard. 20% is a good deal. 25% is an extraordinary deal. 30% is just about as good as any AD will offer even their best clients.

Many ADs are hesitant to go above 15%, so anything above that is good. Shoot for as much as possible, but realize that if you can get 20% you are getting a good deal.

Thanks for that bud, I'll base my judgement on the figures that you've mentioned and I'll let you know how I get on,
Thanks again,
The Soulman.
