In another thread recently, describing a Breitling factory tour by some journalists, there was talk of trying to arrange a BreitlingSource factory visit. Nav01L, F14D_Tomcat and I are all located in Switzerland and would like to try to put this together. The question is, who else is interested?

Obviously, for most of you it's a long trip but I can assure you that making a visit to Switzerland is not the worst thing you'll do this year. There are plenty of other watch attractions to visit (JLC tour, anyone?) as well as a few measly mountains and lakes. Maybe I can even get Monsieur Meylan to provide some flights like the one I had last weekend. There are many possibilities and no need to discuss them all at this point. The purpose of this message is to gauge interest.

So, who wants to come out to play?

When would this trip take place? July? August? Roughly estimated that is.

There hasn't yet been any discussion of a timeframe. I think we need to wait to see if anyone is interested in coming from overseas since their arrangements will likely take longer to make.

Want to? Yes. Able to? No. I think it's a great idea, though. Hopefully you'll find enough takers to make a go of it. Good luck.

Nine time zones is a bit far. Maybe you can find a Swiss client...

As we wait for this to take form, we should take a flight with Mr. Meylan's Bucker. Now is the season. 8-)

Want to - Yes.
The rest will depend on timing.
The next two months are out due to our relocation to Beijing.
Sometime in Autumn could be possible.

Cannot land anything decent in Grenchen.

You need to fly to Zürich (ZRH) when You arrive from outside Switzerland. Otherwise You could go to Bern (BRN), but they hardly have international flights, except some charters to the mediteranean vacation destinations.
